Which sector was Phoenix in when she went down? Was it the one devastated by the Weapon?
Even if the physical ship is gone, I personally would agitate to have the name transferred to a new hull. It is a name that should never be allowed to die. If anyone in the pods has anything remaining from the original vessel, that should become part of the dedication plaque for the new one.
