The Phoenix thing was my fault. Got into a close encounter with Caltrons, tried to pull out when it proved too tough, got warp shot and no ship was in any shape to asist. Spent the rest of the mission in lifepods, including Xavier’s incident, but I’m waiting for ONI to find out what happened to the wreck.
