    Unless otherwise stated, there is always a duty shift on Saturday at 20:00 UTC (4PM EST).

    Over the past 3 years, the only times we have stood down and missed a shift have been during the christmas and new year periods, though enough people have shown up anyway to crew at least one ship and play.

    From the Library of procedures…

    Star Dates
    The date will be stated as a shortened date, e.g. D-M-YY with the addition of the RP date – currently -2236 (dash-two-two-three-seven). For example 19th April 2014 would be “Stardate 19414-2237”
