Jason was born the second son of a career enlistedman. The military had been the Buchanan family legacy for countless generations. Since the days of wooden ships and black powder, the men of the family have served with distinction. So when he came of age, Jason knew what he had to do… enlist. After Basic, he MOS’ed to the TSN Engineering Corps.
Jason finished AIT with distinction and was promoted to Crewman First Class. After his first tour, Jason married his high school sweetheart Lynn. Twelve years and two children later, Petty Officer First Class Buchanan did what nobody in his family had done in centuries of service… he became an OFFICER.
