    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

4LTDIV supported the installation of the new Bloodhound sensor suite for Cerberus system. Some new sensor relays routed to Promethean Command due to logistics austerity measures were onboarded and successfully deployed by the division in addition to providing Combat Astronautic Patrol cover for active field engineering vessels. 4LTDIV engaged various pirate forces, as well as Caltron scout pickets. Field support was also provided to an engineering vessel suffering engine malfunction.

While the division was standing down between deployments, they were scrambled to meet the incursion of substantial Caltron forces into the vicinity of Promethean Command. Before the Caltrons were successfully subdued, weapons platform WP-98 and shipyards SY-55 and SY-170 were destroyed and a number of officers experienced unusual transient neurological symptoms. A N’tani Home Fleet detachment en-route to the Euphini Expanse arrived in sector with a few Hegemony warships on their tail. This additional threat was quickly dealt with allowing the N’tani to complete their transit.

Shortly therafter, a coded transmission was received from new Zolmari defectors across the border in Erebus, who were on the run from their Order and Hegemony pursuers. The Division quickly responded, moving through Sierra to link up with the defectors. The assault executed by the Division put the system on high alert. In a bid to secure gate control on the Erebus side, KB-H-48 was raided. The base was destroyed before marines could be deployed to seize it however, and the division moved on. Making a rendezvous with the Zolmari units in sector XI, the Division stalled for time until the Zolmari could move on to sector X. In the firefight, KB-F-55 was destroyed by the division. Returning to sector X, the Division found itself in a pincer between large and active Hegemony forces. Continuing to keep the Hegemony at bay the Division enabled the Zolmari to successfully retreat through the Gate, and then shortly followed suit. With the local gate control station neutralized, the Order were unable to prevent the Zolmari temporarily sealing the Sierra-Erebus gateline, assuring their secure exfiltration.

    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING ENDS….

    CURRENT FLEET INTELLIGENCE:

The successful integration of the Bloodhound sensor relays will aid the Cerberus System ISS and garrison forces greatly in keeping the trade lanes and forward defenses secure. Pirate activity is expected to be well-suppressed in Cerberus, at least for a while, and hostile threats will no longer catch anyone by surprise.

ONI has been conducting further study with the alien artifacts within our possession. A post-shift multispectrum energy pattern analysis came up with the following findings:

The energy patterns were a partial match. Apparently the artifacts energy patterns are on rotating frequencies, one of which matches the frequency of its companion. This suggests a connection between the two.

Also worth noting are the sensory blackouts (periods of migraine, deafness, numbness or blindness) experienced by certain officers during the test, and also during various periods throughout the shift. Further information regarding this phenomenon is withheld to officers of CL 1. ONI or HICOM officials will release related intelligence on a need to know basis ONLY.

    MISSION PLANNING:
TSNCOM has been in contact with the N’tani Home Fleet as of late. It is likely that 4LTDIV will be deployed to aid some of their elements in the near future. Furthermore, USF activity has been spiking recently due to growing xenophobic sentiment in the Terran citizenry of the USFP. ONI analysts suspect a major incursion somewhere in the Border Region soon.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
TSN Sabre has arrived with the fleet and is performing adequately as the new division command ship. Commanding Officers and crews are requested to take into consideration the loadout of the Ares class, and plan accordingly to synergize with their own vessel’s capabilities.

The increasing number of Caltron incursions which seem to be occurring within our vicinity is a cause for alarm. Commanding Officers are advised to remain vigilant at all times and report these sightings immediately to the active CIC officer for logging.
