    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

Continued wargames in the Euphini Expanse initially defending Zolmari bases against Kralien Religious Order kamikaze squadrons. CIC systems were disrupted and Sector XVI was invaded by a strong force of large Skaraan vessels. TSN Horizon salvaged a black box from one she defeated. Following signals intelligence from that encounter, 4LD pursued into sector XII and defeated a number of Kralien fleets using the Barrion Nebula to conceal their movements. TSN Viper forced one to surrender and her marine boarding party extracted copies of her operational intelligence logs. Viper’s shuttle then returned to take the crew prisoner before scuttling the ship, KRO Bailiff-505492

Upon return to the hosting Zolmari bases the division was swiftly transferred to Atlantis Command and on through the Arietis Gate where there were reports of a major Kralien incursion. The division engaged a heavy Kralien task force, in company with several Caltron heavy units, assaulting Arietis Command. The division successfully defended all five stations in the sector even when a Caltron Jump Gate appeared to Core-Spinward and several Caltron fleets appeared, screening a Super Swarm. Eventually a heavily shielded Mark-II Transport made a brief stop at the Command station and retrieved a Forerunner Artifact for conveyance out of system in company with heavy elements of 1BATDIV.

    …OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING ENDS

    CURRENT FLEET INTELLIGENCE:

The Skaraan exploit of the defence grid vulnerability has been found in the information extracted from the black box and the Skaraan crew that were taken into custody. The division needs to return to Euphini until the counter is deployed and automated replication confirmed. Assume Kraliens will continue to exploit the vulnerability to attack N’tani and Zolmari assets. Analysis of comms traffic also suggests that there may be a significant additional presence of both Skaraan and Kralien forces establishing a forward operating base. Keep consoles up to date and report any EWAR or CW attacks to the tech teams on staff with the Division as soon as systems recover. It is paramount to fleet operations to ensure that blanket crashes do not end up placing the Division in a tactically unsound position.

The sighting of heavy Caltron units intermixing with Kralien Order vessels without engaging in combat is an extremely worrying development and suggests that the Kraliens have gleaned some new knowledge from the Artifacts they have had in their possession. ONI are still investigating why Caltron units treated TSN Viper in a similar fashion during a recent encounter.

    MISSION PLANNING:

Given recent assaults placing continuous strain on 1BATDIV, 4LTDIV and ISS, it seems likely that enemy forces may continue raids against key strategic positions. 4LTDIV may also be called upon for deep strike operations, both for [REDACTED] and to curtail enemy forces.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Officers should be aware that some Kralien ships have been seen to declare as Zolmari at unexpected times, including when surrounded by non-Zolmari. All reasonable efforts should be made to ensure that they are able to escape safely, once they have made themselves known.

Keep the Section Blue frigate assigned as close support until the problems with her power generation are resolved. Suggest refocusing her long-range emitters to enable at least measurable damage to a capital ship even at the cost of lateral coverage.
