    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

Numerous crew were involved in analysis of Jump Point data and in preparing all remaining expeditionary assets to bug out. TSN Sabre, Horizon and Viper followed the last known course of the Rumarians who kidnapped expeditionary science personnel into Arcturus-2. Sensor range was extremely limited and probes were deployed to scout the area. Sensors located a Rumarian presence on an asteroid. From previous mission analysis, it is clear that Rumarians are extremely tough in close quarters and so massive marine drops were coordinated. TSN Sabre’s shuttle crashed after the first drop and despite her remaining Marines offering to transfer via EVA, she was diverted to run interference for the other ships performing assault landings. The scientists were recovered and hasty evacuations completed in shuttles loaded well past safety limits. Marines casualties reached 30%.
The division made a quick run to the Arcturus-9 arrival point, deployed a hidden data beacon for future TSN contact, salvaged all remaining possible equipment from the combat wreckage and drew attention of the Rumarians away from the remainder of the expedition making its way to the Jump Point in Arcturus-4.
4LD arrived at the rendezvous just in time to drive off Rumarian interception. The division activated the Jump Point.
    …OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING ENDS

    CURRENT DIVISION INTELLIGENCE:
    Location unknown. Logistics critically limited.

    MISSION PLANNING:
Fix position. Secure logistics. Seek return to USFP space.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
All operations must be carried out with minimum risk and maximum efficiency.
Expenditure of heavy ordnance must be authorized by a senior officer. Senior officers are required to limit the expenditure of heavy ordnance to a minimum until manufacturing or other resupply facilities are accessible.
Recovery of biologic beacons for recharge and reprogramming should be performed whenever possible.
Systems maintenance and endurance are of primary importance. All care should be taken to minimize damage to any system.
Xenology and Astrogation from first principles should be revised.
Rapid execution of fleet orders should be practiced to ensure windows of tactical opportunity are not lost and that disengagement can be executed on a hair-trigger.
