Turnez sits at one of the tables close to a window. He sips a hot drink whilst quietly scrutinising a data pad held in his hand. His focus is entirely upon the pad, which he taps on occasion between drinking. Absorbed in his work, he is oblivious to all around him.
Wilcon walks in hurriedly, fuming at his data pad, which shows a game of chess being played against the computer on easy difficulty, with the computer having won consistently over 13 prior games, and drops himself into a booth opposite the windows, turning off the data pad in an attempt to cut his losses and humiliation off at the source, instead opting to look out the windows and observe the occupants of the bar.
Turnez continues to scrutinise his data pad, scrolling through various screens of sensor data and stellar cartography maps and pausing every so often to type a few notes before continuing.
A cocky looking officer walks in and props his feet up on the table. In one hand, he is holding a cup of steaming hot coffee. He sips it before pulling out his small data pad and continuing the video he had paused approximately two years ago.
