Most navies seem to use consistent names for each class of ship and they would relate to the name of the first in class. So Artemis class light cruisers would all be named after Greek gods or perhaps only Greek goddesses, or they would be named after female war deities from any pantheon.
The class name should define the other members of the class. So Horizon class vessels might be named, Equator, Sunrise, Sunset, Dusk, Dawn (or maybe Aurora), Tropic, Latitude, Longitude, Equinox, Solstice, Terminator, Aphelion, Perihelion, Meridian, Arctic, Antarctic, Polaris, Precession, Ecliptic, Nadir, Zenith, because they are all related to planetary/solar phenomena.
