    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

Following Kralien incursions into both Euphini to threaten the new N’tani defence grid and into Arietis to regain the Hjorden Artifact, 4LD struck into Erebus system in convoy with the Djinn supply ship for increased ordnance capacity. They did severe damage to a dozen Kralien staging bases in Erebus sectors V, VI and VII. On the way they evaded and damaged a number of Kralien fleets including the destruction of three Torgoth Command ships. A small number of surrendered Kraliens defected to commander Zolmar’s independence faction and assisted the division in their retreat.

In the Euphini Expanse the division provided Combat Area Patrol for the N’tani as they deployed upgrades to address the defence grid vulnerability exploited by the Skaraans. The division deployed tech teams to the sensor buoy to assist. Several large Skaraan vessels attempted to interfere but were successfully intercepted. One was forced to surrender and then a marine team took the crew off and downloaded the data cores before the ship was scuttled.

    …OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING ENDS

    CURRENT FLEET INTELLIGENCE:

Analysis of Skaraan data cores and comms traffic suggests that there may be a significant additional presence of both Skaraan and Kralien forces establishing a forward operating base elsewhere in Euphini.

No further Caltron units were seen accompanying Kraliens without engaging in combat. ONI are still investigating why Caltron units treated TSN Viper in a similar fashion during a recent encounter.

    MISSION PLANNING:

Identify and eliminate the Kralien forward operating base in the Euphini Expanse. It is likely that they have reactivated their old positions in Euphini, to some extent, given how often the Division has had to return to Euphini and intercept hostile elements. If this turns out to be more than a mere staging point, the bases there will need to be knocked out a second time — this time, for good, so our allies will be secured from enemy reprisals.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Officers should be aware that some Kralien ships have been seen to declare as Zolmari at unexpected times, including when surrounded by non-Zolmari. All reasonable efforts should be made to ensure that they are able to escape safely, once they have made themselves known.

TSNCOM has, as most officers have noted, pulled the TSN Lancer off the roster for a systems analysis and refit. This leaves the 4LTDIV without the quick response element it has come to make good use of. Our line cruisers will not necessarily be able to fill this gap ideally and are required in heavier combat roles. It may be prudent to activate our lighter reservist ships such as the scout ship TSN Hunter or the warp-refit destroyer TSN Excalibur for a QRF role, should manpower permit. Either of these craft would be able to serve well.
