What is the status of the Karvaach Class project submission?
Is it in a state to be tested?
Can the resources files now be pulled into a development mod patch for testing?Rakaydos,
what are you using to edit these texts?
– comments are not properly delimited
– quotation marks are not the standard character for a double quote (Is this from MS-Word?)
– nothing is indented
This makes it a bit of extra work to get into a standard vesseldata file.If you could provide a vesselData.xml file in the same format you find it in the Artemis directory, it would help greatly.
To address this I am including a correction in a forthcoming dev test. To be paranoid, I have set the back shields of all base-like hulls to the same as the front in case the sandbox spawns them as a ship instead of a station.
Let me know if this is not such a good idea.

I have taken up this vesseldata entry for inclusion in an upcoming dev version.
Please note that comments begin and end with DOUBLE hyphens, not single ones.
It would be most helpful to take an existing vesseldata file entry and edit it and submit it (or indeed the whole file) as a plain text file attachment.Let me know if this is still correct for testing.

The briefing is intended to recap the strategic situation, recent events and impact on rules of engagement and adaptations of tactical doctrine.
It should provide background on what the upcoming missions are about, why and how they will be fought.
It is also an opportunity to create a little roleplay atmosphere and to cover administration events lik3 promotions, awards, duty officer appointments etc.
I’m sorry if it comes across as Command focussed. Mostly it is Command officers who have information and responsibility to attend to. Questions and suggestions, especially in-character would be very welcome.

It would be more correct to say that things are “repeated” in Discord. Mission Briefing and all admin announcements, like promotions and awards, are always given in Teamspeak verbally.
We are trying to return to the practice of always publishing an “ONI report” on this forum that summarizes the situation after the previous shift as a way of helping.
I don’t understand the issue with Discord. It has been a while since I signed up. If they are looking for a valid mobile phone number to text a confirmation to, then would a free Google Voice number work? Not sure if they are still handing them out. They are very useful for receiving texts and forwarding calls to any phone you choose.
