OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….
Negotiated with N’tani and exchanged the Obelisk for a captured Imperial Scientist. The TSN met with us over Hjocoa and the AWOL Harriet Hamilton returned to face court martial. The TSN agreed to work with us on a raid of Fortress Fenring to liberate Prefect Moritani and Lt. Cdr. Mundy.
Raided Antara -12 for Kralien Slingshot power systems in order to bypass the Jump Gate systems.
The TSN jammed the Atlantis Gate while at Wapoint 60 we ambushed and took control of an INI vessel carrying our marines and technician Polano, who were captured in the assault on Cerberus Gate Control. It is now confirmed that 10 marines died in the assault.

CURRENT DIVISION INTELLIGENCE:

With ISN Oblivion destroyed, and possibly unrecoverable, the division has lost one quarter of its firepower. Until we can replace or recover Oblivion, we must be increasingly careful with our remaining ships.

The division’s supply ship, ISN Grant, is available for use by the division. Given that Grant is our only means of resupply and repair, the protection of ISN Grant is a priority.

Lt. Cdr. Mundy remains in Imperial custody, in a starbase known as Fortress Fenring. Her rescue is a priority, as we are unsure how avid the Imperial Navy will be to interrogate her, despite Admiral Mundy’s sway over the matter. Cdr. Matsiyan has received images from Mundy who seems to be focused on mental defence meditations. She is however interrupted by visions of a gaunt, middle-aged man deeply disturbed by suffering aliens and a menacing shadowy object.

It is important that Mundy return with us to our universe when we find a way.

MISSION PLANNING:

Locate the rift control and psychic interlink forerunner artifacts to create the conditions for a return home. More immediately, recover our remaining officers being held at Fortress Fenring. Assaulting a Fortress Base under a normal theoretical attack plan would be something only done with an armada of fleet craft, and perhaps supercarriers like Atlantia. The captured ISN Nemesis is expected to deliver our captured marines to Fenring. The plan is to use that as a Trojan Horse to initiate the attack. ONI are also investigating if Fenring systems can be compromised by hacking a nearby comms relay.

TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

With vessel and supply replacement currently unavailable without raiding, minimize expenditure of supplies and risks to vessels.
