    OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

As soon as they had completed resupply at Hjorden V, Sierra-One-Two, 2FLT4LD returned coreward to find the source of the heavy Caltron incursion encountered last shift. They immediately ran into Caltron scouts and heavier elements entering the sector. Defeating them and probing into sector II, a Caltron jump point was found with heavier units ranging up to a swarm. On defeating the bulk of this force, the jump point closed and the Caltron presence was removed. Returning to Sierra-One-Two, Ambassador Fernbrook was conveyed to a meeting with the previous Ambassador pro-tem in sector IV. Ongoing pirate activity threatened Hjorden stations to coreward. While two vessels were detached to deal with them and TSN Horizon was collecting Mr. Estes, the remnants of a USF force broke out of a nebula and threatened the rendezvous. Because of a delay in obtaining clearance for Mr. Estes’ departure, Horizon was forced to leave the rendezvous and assist with the engagement. Having dealt with the pirates, all of the division’s vessels were able to concentrate forces to eliminate the Unukalhai threat permanently. Ambassador Fernbrook was delivered to her final destination and the division returned former ambassador Estes to Promethean Command.

4TD2FLT entered Erebus sector II in the face of a significant Kralien presence, fitted auxiliary remote thruster units to the hulk of TSN Lancer and escorted her home, eliminating at least one Torgoth command ship.

Having receiving confirmation that Zolmari refugees in damaged vessels stolen from maintenance yards had arrived through the gate from Cronus, the division deployed to escort them into the Promethean shipyards. Some officers were taken ill during the shift and with Captain Evans in CIC, Lt Cdr. Aramond and Capt. Jemel at the inquiry into the loss of the Lancer, TSN Hunter’s crew were folded into the TSN Viper. TSN Viper, TSN Horizon and TSN Sabre were commanded respectively by Lt.Cdr. Matsiyan, Lt.Sr. Hall and Lt.Sr. Mundy. The inevitable heavy pursuit was dealt with while the lead transport’s warp core went out of control and the crew abandoned ship near Forward Command. Their life pods were collected just before the core went critical creating a major radiation hazard. Comms relays were collected from Forward Command and retuned to create a radiation containment field deployed around the core while monitoring the radiation and fending off pirates. Most of the poorly conditioned refugee vessels were lost, though a few of their crew and passengers were rescued.

    …OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING ENDS

    CURRENT FLEET INTELLIGENCE:

1BATDIV is standing down from maximum preparedness and in the current climate of austerity may be needed elsewhere very shortly. Skaraan raiding probes have made moves against them, though of course to little success in damaging 1BATDIV forces.

Caltron activity seems to be stabilizing but it is unlikely we have seen the end to the recent wave of incursions.

Unukalhai Space Forces craft seem to be more disorganized than usual, likely a result of our victories over their ambush parties in Hjorden. Without their Arrin base to stage from we expect no further trouble in Hjorden itself, but the task force that departed from their planetoid mini-fortress base is still at large and could strike any number of targets in the Border Region.

    MISSION PLANNING:
It is suspected that insurgent forces may be attempting to poke at the trade lanes in the immediate future. The BLOODHOUND sensor systems are still quite far from being perfectly tuned and commerce raiders are no doubt clogging the Cerberus sensor grid when they can.

Of course, the Hegemony force buildup continues and it is likely the Division will see no shortage of Order forces to dispose of. At the current pace our counterstrikes are occurring, a total invasion has been rendered fairly unlikely, but large Order battlegroups will be expected to make probing hits of their own.

More elements of the N’tani Home Fleet have been relocating into the Border Region and headed towards Euphini in light of the growing conflict. It is possible these elements will request our assistance, should they be hit by the Order or commerce raiders.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Operatives from [REDACTED] are expressing their concern that inadequate attention is being paid to familiarizing 4LD crew with operation of [REDACTED], callsign Hunter, for upcoming critical missions.
