OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

The insurgent TSN’s Lt. Cdr. Mundy insisted on accompanying the raid on Fenring after experiencing psychic contact with his sister. He also successfully petitioned the TSN to coordinate fleet attacks to provide cover for the raid. The captured Azure Legion ISN Nemesis arrived at Fenring with Xavier, LC Mundy (TSN) and the maximum possible number of marines aboard. The Division destroyed a key comms relay, interfering with ISN communications and allowing marines to safely board the fortress. The division blew a hole in the weapons platform barrier guarding the station, allowing egress of the prisoners, with the marines, while the TSN conducted additional diversion sorties. The division then retreated to Atlantis XX, where they boarded and captured a research station in order to resupply and treat wounded.

Due to the number of wounded, the original plan of rigging the captured ship as a booby trap wouldn’t work. The ship was needed to transport the injured, and the other ships were required to escort the vessel across four sectors before reaching the Cerberus Gate, through very heavy enemy resistance. In the process, Relentless and Invictus were also destroyed. ISN Excision lost her shuttle, and it fell to TSN ships to send shuttles to recover the last lifepods. Excision and the captured Retarius class vessel made it to Hjorden.

CURRENT DIVISION INTELLIGENCE:

We have a captured Innovation Directorate scientist who was on the team central to the breakthrough providing the ISN with control of small Caltrons.
We have access to Prefect Moritani who may know something about the psionic-relay artifact.
With ISN Oblivion, Invictus and Relentless destroyed, and unrecoverable, the division has lost three quarters of its firepower. We must be careful with our remaining ships, ISN Excision and the captured ISN Nemesis.

The division’s supply ship, ISN Grant, is available for use by the division. Given that Grant is our only means of resupply and repair, the protection of ISN Grant is a priority.

MISSION PLANNING:

Locate the rift control and psychic interlink forerunner artifacts to create the conditions for a return home.

TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

With vessel and supply replacement currently unavailable without raiding, minimize expenditure of supplies and risks to vessels.
