OPERATIONAL DEBRIEFING FOLLOWS….

First Mission

Mission: Arrin-IV: Deploy/maintain sensor buoys within 20k of singularity to eliminate Florin-Kati’ Kralien interference with Caltrons.
4LD engaged the Kraliens in Arrin 4, deployed the sensor buoys in required pattern, defended them from being approached by Caltrons and Kraliens. 4LD captured a lone base in the sector long enough to resupply themselves. The Blackhole resonance frequency Florin-Kati used to lure Caltrons was neutralized. Some Caltrons were seen to vacate the system during the mission.

Second Mission

Objectives:
Locate Caltrons in Arrin, but avoid destroying them if possible
Capture one or more Caltrons for analysis
Protect Arvonians from hostile forces.
Discovered Kralien sensor traces in A1 in Arrin sector VI where Hjorden gate located. Attempted to capture Caltron there using EMP but was unsuccessful. Found friendly Caltron in Arrin-I. Lancer sent to investigate. Caltron remained friendly until radiation point and singularity appeared in the middle of the sector. Friendly Caltron became unfriendly and other antagonistic Caltrons started coming through the singularity. Mostly avoided Caltron destruction. Caltron destruction was not at 4LD hands. First attempt to capture unfriendly Caltron in Arrin-I failed when tagged caltron ship was destroyed. Captured a caltron with the help of Arvonian envoy/engineer. Arvonian ships that joined the 4LD on this operation were destroyed during the course of the mission by Caltrons. Florin-Kati base observed. CIC added added mission objective:
Capture the Florin-Kati Kralien station
The station @A5m5 was captured and intelligence was procured from it. ONI will be examining that intel. In 4LD’s haste to exit the system, we were unable to determine if the explosive charges left by the marines detonated before the Florin-Kati could retake the base or not. They were approaching the base as we exited the sector. Several reinforcing Florin-Kati Kraliens, their friends and hired Skaraans attempted to disrupt the 4LD efforts.

CURRENT DIVISION INTELLIGENCE:
The Arvonians that remained behind were saddened by the loss of their comrades but understand the risky nature of combat operations and commended 4LD on their efforts, particularly their restraint in avoiding destroying Caltrons. They have begun their assessment of the nature of the Caltrons. Command recognizes the difficulty associated with protecting the Arvonians while simultaneously avoiding destroying hostile Caltrons and also commends 4LD on the execution of this mission.

MISSION PLANNING:

We are not yet certain how long the gate to Cerberus will be out of action. There may be a requirement for increased patrols on both sides of the gate to ensure that these sectors, suddenly starved of trade and traffic, do not become problem areas and breeding grounds for pirates.
Eliminate Kraliens and allies from Arrin. Allow Arvonians to attempt to disperse Caltrons.

TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

Given our lack of significant intelligence within Hegemony space, it is unknown how much support and infrastructure the Florin-kati have available outside of ONI sensor nets. Vigilant readiness strongest recommendation.
