    SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE REPORT FOLLOWS…
4HG completed basic resupply and crew rest rotation at the recaptured Volantis Command. ISN Invictus received significant power efficiency upgrades. They assisted the 1BATCOM task force and Marches Naval Auxiliary Engineering with re-establishing the Volantis command communications net. 4HG rescued three cargo transports inbound from Promethean with reconstruction supplies from Skaraan interception and a Kralien scout force.
Volantis sector 3 was recaptured from Hegemony control. The bases had been heavily fortified with defense platforms and a major fleet presence including multiple Command vessels. ISN Excision was ambushed by four heavy Skaraans. ISN Invictus suffered a critical weapons console malfunction while bingo on energy. Despite these setbacks 4HG drove the invaders away from stations and recaptured them with waves of Imperial Marine shuttle assaults.
4HG was immediately recalled to Promethean Command and redeployed into Cerberus. There is concern that the Kraliens may attempt a major invasion into Promethean or Atlantis systems while we are still distracted by the need to consolidate Volantis. 4HG made a surgical strike into Cerberus III to board Cerberus Command with specialist marine teams and download intel from the datacores on Hegemony dispositions within the system.

    SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE REPORT ENDS…

    CURRENT GROUP INTELLIGENCE:
The situation in Cerberus remains serious with an unknown level of Hegemony infiltration and invasion preparedness until the captured intel is decrypted and analysed. Imperial outposts and population have now been out of contact for a significant period. It is unknown whether garrisons survive and the extent to which civilian populations have been subjugated or subverted. Of more long-term importance is the isolation of the whole Krisenda system, which, while it may be out of Hegemony reach is more obviously open to N’tani and Hjorden operations and the insidious influence of their contacts among the USFPs TSN insurrectionists.

    MISSION PLANNING:
It is highly likely that 4HG will be used to clear Hegemony forces from the Cerberus system and re-establish control over the civilian infrastructure. Any remaining Imperial garrisons are likely to be relieved and interrogated. Civilian populations will need to be closely monitored for signs of collusion with the enemy and future sabotage. Truly loyal subjects of the Empire would have still been conducting insurgency operations against occupying forces.

    TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
Hegemony forces along the front though seem quite intent on pressing forth with their own invasion plans, so less mercy should be afforded here than we did with our little “vacation”. Destroy and intimidate the enemy.

Officers are advised to continue training with the various quirks of their ships and develop an effective battle plan for all forms of hostiles including renegade ISN vessels from those overrun by rebel activity during the isolation of Promethean Command.
